Each Fall KTSCB participates in Rivers Alive, sponsored by Keep Georgia Beautiful. Rivers Alive volunteers remove litter and debris from the banks and channels of streams and lakes and gain awareness of and involvement in the preservation of Georgia's water resources. In 2011, 25 community volunteers removed more than 3,000 pounds of waste from our local streams and lakes.
