Each Spring KTSCB participates in The Great American Cleanup. The GAC is promoted by Keep America Beautiful and has become the nation's largest community improvement program, involving an estimated 3 million volunteers across the United States.

During the 2011 GAC, KTSCB had a fifth grade litter essay contest, a full month contest with five teams competing for a one thousand dollar prize.  We finalized it with a day of volunteer cleanup.  We are looking forward to another month of cleanup in March 2012.
